Union Minister
for Tourism Subodh Kant Sahay visited Shirdi to seek Sai Baba's blessings.
After he paid obeisance in Sai Baba's Samadhi Mandir,
the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan facilitated him with a Idol of Sai Baba, vastra and prasad.
Later on while speaking to media he said that the work on the upcoming airport at Shirdi had got delayed
due to runway modification and thus will be completed in the next 3 years & it should be completed
before the upcoming commemorative function to mark the centenary of Baba's Samadhi in 2018,
when, thousands of devotees of Shri Sai Baba are expected to come to Shirdi from various parts of India/Abroad.
He further said as part of the preparations for the event, the Union Government will make available funds
for the upgradation of the infrastructure such as sanitation and roads because Shirdi is an important place
on the global map. This work will be undertaken jointly by the Central and State governments
along with the Shirdi Sansthan and Shirdi's Municipal council.
Shirdi is heaven on earth and all Sai devotees only know one place in this world where they know that their all worries will come to end once they will enter Shirdi .We all go to Shirdi with many expectations but sometimes we have to wait in the long ques for hours and hours together which becomes very tiring specially for those who go along with small children and also people who are old aged and facing some kind of physical limitations .Not only we face problems for having Baba's darshan but also in getting accommodation and many other issues ,but now we dont have to worry before going to Shirdi, because its a very good news for all Sai children that Shirdi Sai Baba Trust has inaugurated the new website https://online.sai.org.in which is specially designed for the following services :-
