My name is Ramsaiprakash, from Bangalore, i am a sai devotee, and planned to go to shirdi on 16th sept 2009 but when i started my journey i was alone then........ read the experience

I Don't know How to describe... I don't Have words to say� about my Experience..

When I Started My Journey.. by the Grace of Baba I met one guy in my compartment in Train.. He is also coming to Shirdi. My seat no. was 34 and his is 38.. He only asked me that are you coming to Shirdi. Then I said Yes.. this is my first visit. Can you help me. Then He told me that nothing to worry, I am visiting Shirdi from last 10 years and this is my 17th Visit. Then I become very happy.. Because he told me that he know each and everyplace in Shirdi.. in and around.. Within half an hour he become a Close Friend (Like My family member). He asked me when you are coming back.. I told I didn't plan because I didn't get return ticket Reservation. . He asked me that "I am coming back on 20th will you come with me" Then I said Yes.. Then he called to his friend who is Bangalore and asked him to Reserve Two Tickets in Tatkal and told him to mail the Tickets to his email ID�. (Next morning 17th only his friend confirm the return ticket and mailed it).

Then I am thinking of accommodation. He told me that he is coming with his 2 cousins and they already reserve the Room in lodge. But He told that he has a friend in Shirdi and he will arrange a Room for you don't worry. Then I relaxed. But after some time one lady come with his son to our compartment. She was also coming to Shirdi.. after talking for one hour she asked me where you are staying in Shirdi. Then I told I have not planned but my friend will arrange a room for me. Then she told me that she already booked a Room for 1 day where lunch and dinner is free. she told me that she will be there in lodge for only 2 hours then she is going to Nasik with his son, if you want You can continue in that room only and I'll pay for one day.

Then Next day We reached Kopergaon at 2 pm . We all me, my friend his 2 cousins, lady and his son total six members took a auto. First we visited THAPOBHOOMI Where baba did Tapasya for 16 years. Then we went to GODAVARI RIVER wash the face and put some water on head. Then we went to Lodge. We took our bath and then at 5pm we went to KHANDOBA TEMPLE . 6-30 went to DARSHAN. By 8-30 we took DARSHAN @ Samadhi Mandir Then we reached Chavdi. Because that is Thursday night @ 9-15pm we saw PALAKI UTSAVA (CHAVADI PROCESSION).

We went to room by 10 pm had dinner and then came back to DWARAKAMAI. We were in DWARAKAMAI till night 1.30 pm reading "SAI SACHARITA" and writing "Om Sai Ram". Then we came back to room and slept.

Morning after breakfast we visit SHYAM's House, Malhasapati' s Home and then Laxmibai Shinde's Home.

By 12 pm we went to see PANCHAMUKHI GANESH (Vishnu Ganesh) Temple . That is about 2 km from Shirdi. Visited Temple and Had PRASAD (Lunch) There Only. Everyday after 12.30pm they will give FREE food (lunch) to everybody who visits temple. Prasad (ANDHRA STYLE LUNCH) was were delicious.

Then we came back visit temple.

BABA's Miracle

By evening my friend took me to visit SAI DHAM (I think Most people don't know the place) Which about 22 Kms. From Shirdi and 6 km. from Kopergaon. One Sai Devotee Baba is there called DHONDI RAM BABA or CHAVAN BABA. By Saibabas prerana he will tells solutions and suggestions. (LIKE JYOTISHA or FUTURE TELLING or Saibaba will comes in his body and tells).

In that SAI DHAM Campus One Small Home is there called SAI DHAMA. And 1 Sai Temple is there. And one more room is there but that it is Underground.

Some miracles are already there.

1. In Sai Dham infront of Babas Statue on Marble tiles on Ground
OM AND THRISHUL are appeared.

2. Behind Sai Temple one Coconut Tree is there in that tree you can see sai babas face appeared. (In television and News papers covered that news with photo) (photo is in Saidham Room)

3. In Underground Room in front of Baba on wall marble tiles Saibaba's Face is appeared.

4. There Dog will do Aarati.

We three people went there by 7 -15 pm. Dhondi Babas home is infront of SAI DHAM. After visiting SAIDHAM BUILDING we went to see baba but when we saw DHONDI BABA he started shouting angrily "GET OUT�. GET OUT� I DON'T TELL ANYTHING.. GO FROM HERE�.".

Then we came back to temple. After taking Darshan we came outside. We Saw Dhondi Baba came from his house going towards SAIDHAM.. then again we went there. However he saw us again started shouting "Why don't you understand. Go away. I am not going to tell anything." Then I asked Dhondi Baba that we are not expecting anything from you and Don't tell anything but let us take blessing and give permission to touch your feet. Then he agreed and stood in front of us. Then However I touched his feet he suddenly became cool and he blessed me and then he put his hand on my shoulder and told come inside. Then he took me in front of SAIBABA's Photo and shouts Baba is Asking you Dakshina Give Dakshina to him.. Baba is asking you dakshina give dakshina to him he repeated. Suddenly I got shocked and I went near Sai Babas photo and open my purse I saw there are two notes are there one is FIVE HUNDRED and another one is ONE HUNDRED rupees. First I thought that to give 500 Rs. Then I changed my mind and then I put 100 Rs. Infront of Baba's photo and came back. Then Dhondi Baba asked me first you wants to keep 500 Rs., then you kept 100 Rs. Isn't it. I said "Yes". Then he told " Yesterday only you gave 500 Rs. in Shirdi isn't it? I said "yes" (Because yesterday i.e. Thursday I gave 501 Rs. Donation in Shirdi )

Then with smile he asked "What you want from Baba". I said I don't want anything. Then he told Your marriage will be fixing very soon Go..(Tumara Shaadi Jaldi Ho jayage jao). Then he asked me that have any body suggested you to wear gem stone. I said yes. Then he asked who said you to wear gem stone. Then I told him that some astrologers told from last 2-3 years but I didn't wear it. Then he showed me he open his palm and showed me nothing was there then he told me Take this Gem Baba told you to wear it. I open my palm and He give me On stone. (It was a Great Miracle From his bare hand he gave me 1 Stone which is sparkling) Then he told Sai baba gave that stone not me. Then he told to my friends that " Ye sai baba ka bacha hai, ye uska sacha Bhakt hai, iske hath me saibaba ka hath hai" Then again he told me that " Wo stone Saibabane diya hai mai nahi". I don't know how to express how I feeled that time. After coming out side he gave prasad pockets to me and my friends from his home. My friends asked to tell something about them. He told them that you come before evening Aarathi now iam not telling anything.

Then I came back when we reach shirdi it was 9 pm we had dinner in a hotel. Then again we come to DWARAKAMAI and we sit there till morning 4 am . We saw by 3-15am they will open DHUNI and first they will take some (FIRE) (CHARCOAL) agni for Dhoopa to wake up SAIBABA in Samadhi Mandir. Then they take out UDI from Dhuni. And there shops will be open at 2 am . I took
1 coconut. DWARAKAMAI opens at 4 am . I kept coconut in front of Baba (There will be one basket, we have to make any wish and put the coconut in that plastic box) AGAIN we sit in DWARAKAMAI till Morning Aarati. Then we went to Lodge and slept for few hours.

Morning we went to Shani Shinganapur at 8 am and came back by 1 pm. Then I visit Lendi Bagh, Gurusthan, Nandadeep, Museum, Temples of shivji, ShaniDev n Ganeshji, Datt Mandir. Again I took 1 more time Darshan. Then I purchased some books, keychains, photos, small statues, calendars. I gave donation and collecteld some UDI pockets.

Saturday night again I came to dwarakamayi and till 2-30 I was there. Spend my time reading sai sacharita and writing Om sai ram. Then there was one Swamy called Radhamohan is there he always do service of Sai baba. He gave me 1 copy of "SAI PRERANA" and told me to read it on every Thursday and read everyday if possible. Then he suggest me to write "om sai ram" is red ink. He gave me one shiva sai photo also. He told that by reading SAI PRERANA our all wishes comes true within short period.

One girl was sitting with swamji He shows me that girl and told. She was from Punjab , her name is VINU. She and her husband both are software engineer in IBM. From last so many years they are trying to go abroad. But that is not possible. Some 2-3 months back when she visits shirdi this swamy gave her SAI PRERANA and told her to read it and to Write "Om sai ram" as Much as possible. Within one month her wish comes true and now she is going Newzeland with her husband.

SHIRDI AIRPORT TO BE COMPLETED IN 3 YEARS TIME

Union Minister for Tourism Subodh Kant Sahay visited Shirdi to seek Sai Baba's blessings.
After he paid obeisance in Sai Baba's Samadhi Mandir,
the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan facilitated him with a Idol of Sai Baba, vastra and prasad.

Later on while speaking to media he said that the work on the upcoming airport at Shirdi had got delayed
due to runway modification and thus will be completed in the next 3 years & it should be completed
before the upcoming commemorative function to mark the centenary of Baba's Samadhi in 2018,
when, thousands of devotees of Shri Sai Baba are expected to come to Shirdi from various parts of India/Abroad.

He further said as part of the preparations for the event, the Union Government will make available funds
for the upgradation of the infrastructure such as sanitation and roads because Shirdi is an important place
on the global map. This work will be undertaken jointly by the Central and State governments
along with the Shirdi Sansthan and Shirdi's Municipal council.

Story Of Rs. 10/- By The Grace Of Sadguru Shri Shirdi Saibaba

 the wonderful service you are rendering to Baba. If He permits, do publish this experience of mine, which I have drafted in a “story” format. Innumerable such experiences. If He permits, I will soon write again.

December 22, 2011 to December 26, 2011, kind Baba set me for a visit to HIS house atShirdi, which I call my “Baper Badi”, in Bengali meaning “Father’s House” or commonly termed as “Maika” in Hindi. I was with my 19 month old baby girl, Doll (Saina) and her nanny (Sumitadi). 

I am devoted to HIS worship since a tender age by HIS blessings. Since I had told Baba that I would marry only a Sai Bhakt and none else. HE was kind enough to see that my husband, who was a Bhakt of Goddess Kali, and did not hear about Shirdi Saibaba till then. I got totally converted to a Sai Bhakt before our marriage. Today, I can proudly say, he is more Sai’s than Sai is mine. 


Since Sai is our (husband and mine) Baba, we have taught our daughter to call HIM “SAIDADU” (Grandfather), which she does. She plays with Baba’s idol at home. She wishes HIM “Good Morning Dadu” on waking up. She helps me give HIM bath, feeds HIM, helps me dress HIM up, claps her hand during Aartis, sings HIS bhajan so on and forth. Doll also snatches Baba’s head dress and plays with HIM. 

This is a brief on our daily house chores. 

Now, coming back to my “Maika” or “Baper-Badi” visit to Shirdi. I am sure that all devotees must have faced the erratic behavior of the security guards inside the temple. Not all are bad, but most of them push the devotees and shun them away as soon as one comes closer to the idol to get a finer look at Baba’s divine form. Devotees are literally treated as “criminals or Qaidis” (forgive me if I say wrong). And for that matter all are pushed whether they are kids or older people. Even, men guards push young ladies, women as well as old people with all their might. Whilst I understand, they too are pressurized on account of the daily crowd, but then where Baba’steaching is for treating everyone humbly? I have found these guards lack the “patience” factor despite being endowed by such a noble act of taking care of the pilgrim devotees. I understand mail discussion on the rudeness of the security guardhad been brought up earlier, but I do not see any progress on their attitude so far. Leaving this issue to Baba’s feet let me carry on. 

Now, inside the temple, when we got a chance to come closer to HIM, we got a very bad push. Frankly, whatever happens to me, I don’t mind as I take all as HIS blessings. So when the guard pushed me hard aside, I still stared at HIM. Then I heard “Doll” cry. They had pushed Sumitadi (Doll’s nanny). And that’s when my mother’s instinct got the better of me. How can a delicate 19 month baby be shunned so? Their bones are soft and these guards use immense strength to push the devotees. Babies and old people can easily land up with serious injuries. Out came my mother’s protective self and I fired the security guard “What do you think you are doing?” At that moment, I did not think of Sai since I got terribly angry with HIM. How can HE watch this happening? I felt. Nonetheless, the lady guard answered me very rudely “Why? What happened? Can’t you see what happened? You have a baby bitterly crying.” “What if I were to push you the same?” I replied. Just then, a senior guard, who was a spectator to all the happenings, told me “He was sorry on behalf of the lady guard.” That ended there, but I was very angry with SAI. And I did not even once look at HIM after that. My daughter was crying profusely and saying “DADU. Na!!” (Meaning “Dadu. No”).


We came out of the temple and directly fell onto the queue which took us to Dwarakamai. I was actually so angry with Deva that I wanted to rush back to the hotel as my daughter was hurt and wanted to cry. But no, HE knew we were hurt (deep). So HE put us directly to the queue which took us to Dwarakamai. Inside Dwarakamai, I complained Baba, “How did YOU allow this”? Doll loves you so much so I do. It’s not about only us. This is a question of so many devotees, including older women, who are pushed so bad. What if they hurt their bones? 

I bowed down to take HIS blessings on the stone, where HE used to sit. And what do I see after straightening up? I had a Rs. 10/-note in hand. I was quiet surprised. I asked the security guard standing next to me as to why had he given the Rs. 10/- to me as I observed he was trying to hand over some flowers from Baba’s stone to me. 

He replied “Why should I give you Rs. 10/-?” 

“So what do I do with it now?” I asked. 

He replied “What do I know? Give it in the Hundi if you want!” 

With dual mind, I placed the note in the Hundi thinking that the note belonged to someone else who has lovingly given Baba, so I shouldn’t keep it. Although I wanted to keep it as I felt Baba gave me the Rs.10/- since I have told HIM something about Rs.10/-. Soon, the security guard rushed to me and asked me “What did you do with the Rs.10/-?”

“I have put it back to the Hundi.” I replied. 

“Why? Baba just told me that HE gave it to you!” he said. 

“Really! Well, actually I was annoyed since few other security guards in the Samadhi Mandir misbehaved with my daughter and me. I was complaining Baba.” I disclosed all the facts to him. 

“Perhaps, Baba has sent me to you. You wait here with a calm mind and talk to Baba. I am coming back in a jiffy.” he gestured me to sit on the Dwarakamai with my daughter and Sumitadi and he rushed away somewhere. 

I waited with my daughter trying to come in terms with the happenings and talking mentally to Baba requesting HIM to return the Rs.10/- to me as being a fool I did not understand. HE gave it to me and so put it back to the Hundi. Although I know without HIS wish, nothing can happen and my putting back to the Hundi might have been HIS desire. 

Meanwhile the security guard returned with Rs.4/-. He told me to give Rs.2/- to my husband and Rs.2/- should be kept by me. He asked us to worship them as directed by Baba. He also gave me few “Chappatis”. I was thrilled. I thanked him and returned back to the hotel. But all the while Rs.10/- was swinging in my mind. Strangely enough, I wanted the Rs.10/- from SAI. I kept on telling HIM, “YOU gave it to me. So why did YOU take it away? YOU will have to return it to me.” 

After couple of days, we had nice and peaceful Darshan. The last day, was the best Darshan. I went for the Kakad Aarti (alone). Oh how lovely. I had the pass. I got the passes done through online booking. It is very convenient. For all my stay dates, I had booked one Darshan and one Aarti daily. I encourage all SAI devotees to make use of the online Darshan system, which has made Darshan so convenient. Thanks to Baba. Thanks to the Sansthan. 

The entire Kakad Aarti went on for 1hour 30 minutes or perhaps 2 hours (Instead of the standard 20 minutes Aarti and 30 minutes Abhishek Pooja, total 1hour). In Kakad Aarti, I had 7-8 Bhajans. Usually only 1 Bhajan is sung. But I was lucky. I could get to hear endless Bhajans. This happens only on days that the Pujari’s decide to clean a depth all the surroundings of the Mandir. Then Baba’s Mangal Snan, Abhishek Pooja, Shirdi Mera Pandharpur – Choti (small) Aarti and finally the Darshan queue was released. I could stand for more time without harassment from the security guards. And imagine 2 hours in front of Baba. It was Divine. Isn’t it? I thanked Baba telling HIM “Is it because today is my last day with YOU here. That is so many blessings. YOU don’t want me to let go. Isn’t it Baba?” Since the Rs.10/- was all along revolving in my mind. I once again reminded Baba to give me the Rs.10/-. 

Let me share with all a particular method of Puja as done by me at home (although with the winter advent, I haven’t been able to continue with this routine!). I felt perhaps that was precisely the reason, HE was kind to me with the Kakad Aarti and the Bhajans. 

I wake up around 3.30 am in the morning. Have bath. And tune to the Live Darshan from Shri Saibaba Sansthan so that I can also do my regular Kakad Aarti in tandem with the Shirdi Mandir. I give HIM bath in tandem with the Mandir too. And the most heart melting moment during my prayers each day is when the Bhajans are sung by the Pujari. Oh what a feeling!! You will simply melt whilst you listen to the Bhajan in the Pujari’s Voice. No professional singer’s voice can match the Pujaris voice, in my opinion. I have downloaded some to listen to it at my ease and want. I feel so much connected to the Pujari’s voice that I always convey thanks to the Pujari in my mind. This time, Baba gave me the opportunity to thank the “Pujari Ji” personally for his melodious and honest voice in service of BABA. 

I recollect, I spotted him amongst the crowd, and how fast I had to run to catch up with him to convey my gratitude. BABA took care of my desire to thank him. And perhaps, it is also for this reason that I call myself lucky that I could get to hear 7-8 Bhajans, where only 1 or at best 2 Bhajans are sung on a daily note in the Mandir. This also elongated my proximity to Baba too in terms of the hours spent with HIM as against to the pushing by the security guard for spending even a second more! 

With all these happenings, I still had the Rs.10/- revolving in my mind. I felt any moment someone will come and hand over Rs.10/- to me! 

Finally, it was time to check out from the hotel. While leaving the room, I went to the picture of Baba hung on the hotel room and told HIM “All is well! But where’s my Rs. 10/-? Look, I am not leaving without the Rs.10/-. Now YOU decide how YOU would give me the Rs.10/-“ 

I went down for signing the hotel bill. I signed the bill and paid the amount reflected, by Credit Card. I had pre-booked my hotel from Make My Trip, so I had only to pay for certain secondary requirements. As I bid “Good-Bye” to the counter. I heard a voice call me back “Madam, won’t you collect your Rs.10/-?” With utter dismay, I turned around to find the Manager at the Hotel Desk show me a Rs.10/- note. 

Like a hungry beggar, wet-eyed and thumping heart, I replied “Yes, of course. But why Rs.10?” 

“Your bill amount was Rs.992/-, By mistake we punched Rs.1000/-. So we return Rs . 10/- to you.” Manager replied. They did not take the Rs.2/- change from me. 

I had goose-bumps then and even now as I write this. The Rs.12/- was kept in my shrine and worshipped regularly.

Story behind the sai vrat pooja :

Kokilaben and her husband Maheshbhai used to live in a big city and they had lots of love for each other. But Maheshbhai’s nature was very annoying and he had no sense of talking. Neighbors were also very much frustrated by his this kind of nature. Kokilaben had lots of faith in GOD and she was very religious.

She was tolerating all her problems silently having lots of faith in GOD that GOD will make everything all right one day. But because of Maheshbhai’s nature, their business went down gradually and there was not enough income. He started staying at home all day and his nature become worst.
It was an afternoon. One old saint came to Kokilaben’s door. There was enormous light on his face. And he asked for rice and dal (lentils). Kokilaben gave him rice and dal and she folded her both hands and said “namste” (greetings).

Saint replied “SAI will always keep you happy.” Kokilaben said “There is no happiness in my life” and she told all her problems to the saint.
After listening to all her problems, Saint told her about

“SAI NAV (NINE) GURUWAR (THURSDAY) VRAT”.

 A Saint told as follows about the Vrat.

· This Vrath can be started from any Thursday by uttering SAI BABA’s name.

· This Vrath has to be continued for 9 Thursdays.

· Any male, female or child can do this Vrat.

· On these Nine Thursday, individual who is doing vrat can eat fruit/milk/sweets etc. all day long or can have one meal a day. ONE MUST NOT DO THIS VRAT WITHOUT EATING ANYTHING.

· If possible, go to SAI BABA’s temple to have SAIBABA’s darshan on these Nine Thursday.

· At home, do pooja / prayer of SAI BABA as follows.

· In the morning or in the evening, do the pooja as mentioned below. 

· Put Yellow Cloth in front of you and place SAI BABA’s Photo or Statue on this cloth.

· Light lamp (diya) in front of BABA’s picture.

· Wash or wipe BABA’s picture with clean water and cloth.

· Put “tikka (Bindi on the forehead)” with “kumkum” (red powder) on BABA’s face.

· Offer Yellow Flower to BABA.

· Offer Fruit or Sweets to BABA as Naivadhya (Prasad)

· Read this SAI story and Read / Sing SAIBABA’s Aarti after finishing Pooja and reading story.

· Tell BABA why you are doing this Vrat and ask him to fulfill your wish.

· Give Prasad to all your friends and family members and you also eat it some.

· If, because of any reason, you cannot do vrat on any Thursday, skip that Thursday and continue from the next Thursday.

· If female is doing this Vrat, skip the Thursday during Menstrual Cycle period.

· On the 9th Thursday, Celebrate SAI VRAT. In this celebration process, feed 5 poor people and distribute this SAI VRAT book among people. One can give 5, 11 or 21 etc.

Since i get mails from Shirdi Saibaba devotees who cant donate food : Saibaba devotees living abroad and those who are not able to give food , can give some sweets to your friends or childrens near by. If possible send money to your relatives in india or request them provide food to poor people sitting outside temple or generally distribute sweets to devotees in any temple.Its better to make childrens happy by giving them any toys, books sweets etc. The point is you are involving yourself in a good deed.
· Put this SAI VRAT Story Book  , which you are going to distribute among people, when you do pooja and then give them to people. By doing this, their wishes will be fulfilled very soon too.

In this Kali Age (Kaliyug), this vrat is very effective. This vrat will give desired fruit to doer but doer must have full faith and patience. Whoever will distribute this SAI VRAT book among people and make good name of SAI and this Vrat, their all wishes will be fulfilled.

Many sai devotees around the world have been benefitted by doing this pooja. Ofcourse I wont say only if you do this pooja your wish will be fulfilled. Not at all. As Lord Krishna says "I will accept any leaf, flower , fruit offered by a pure hearted devotee" , Saibaba also will accept any kind of devotion you show on him.

I mostly suggest the devotees to do parayan - Reading of Sai Satcharitra -

Life of Shirdi Saibaba again and again. This is a greater blessing than any pooja in this world. Sai himself has said reading his life, his leelas and living with faith and patience will take devotees very close to him.

Sai vrat Pooja has somehow become famous as below but during Shirdi Saibabas time it surely was followed in a different way. The following doubts I often get by emails which I wanna clarify here

1. What kind of food i can have ? How many times. etc etc.

Answer is first of all sai is a Saint who never wants his devotees to be fully empty stomach. Some how this pooja became famous and many go to extent of not eating anything. Please have any vegetarian food as many times as you want...ha ha...2...3...your wish. the matter to consider is dont eat FULL. Make sure you have a feeling of faith and devotion in Sai  and you are doing a vrat. Thats it.

2. How to do udyapan.

People who do this pooja for 9 weeks are asked to distribute such books to 9 devotees and also give annadhan. Fine do it if you can. If not its ok. Many ask me for soft copy of sai vrat book . At times i guide them , at times i cant. I always suggest this
